Claynosaurz, one of the most recognizable NFT collections built on Solana and now expanding to Sui, is officially leaping off the blockchain and into mainstream entertainment. The quirky, animated dinosaurs are heading to the small screen as part of a major partnership with Mediawan Kids & Family, marking one of the first full-scale transformations of an NFT project into a children’s television series.

The creators of Claynosaurz — a team with experience at Disney, Illumination, and Sonyoriginally launched the project as a collection of humorous video clips, amassing over 450 million views and earning 11 Collision Awards. That early success fueled the launch of 10,000 animated NFTs minted on Solana, each featuring one-of-a-kind dinosaur characters.

Expanding the Web3 Ecosystem Beyond Solana

The Claynosaurz team is not stopping at TV. They’re expanding into the Sui blockchain, rolling out a new collection called Popkins — 25,000 dynamic characters distributed via randomized digital booster packs. To bridge both networks, a new achievement system has been introduced that supports NFT functionality across both Solana and Sui.

Importantly, the original Genesis collection will remain on Solana, maintaining continuity for early supporters. Meanwhile, Sui will serve as the foundation for the next generation of “digital experiences”, utilizing the Walrus Protocol for scalable storage and interoperability between networks.

Looking ahead, Claynosaurz is also gearing up to launch its own video game in 2025. It’s being built for iOS, Android, and the new SuiPlay0X1 console.
