Annie J. Easley was an African-American computer scientist, mathematician.And rocket scientist who worked in the United States Department of Defense.Annie Easley worked basically for the Lewis Research Center of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and its precursor. The National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (now the National Institute of Standards and Technology).

Annie Easley was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Besides Prior to the Civil Rights Movement, African-American youngsters had minimal educational and professional prospects. Annie was lucky that her mother was advise her that she could be anything she was desire with enough effort. She urged Annie to pursue a higher degree. Annie attended Holy Family High School from fifth grade through high school.Where she graduated as valedictorian of her graduating class.

Annie Easley: One of the first rocket scientists at NASA
